Regarding the coming trip, I have estimated the budget as requested.
Since our prom is on Friday, we shall depart preferably on Sunday morning (in case someone might hangover after the partyafter prom). If you're confident with Malaysia's bus drivers, we shall depart on Saturday night if we're going to Langkawi.
Plan 1
Langkawi.
0000- Depart
0530- Reach Kuala Perlis/ Kuala Kedah and take a ferry ride to Langkawi
0800-Reach Langkawi and do whatever Dave you want. ( to be planned afterwards)
If you want to depart on morning, just delay everything and starts the whole journey at 0800 or 0900.
Accommodation - I personally prefer to stay in Chalet but the problem is the difference in price for a good chalet or a zaplang one is way too much. a good one can cost up to 600 per night and the zaplang one is only 50. For hotel, i think Eagle Bay is not bad, three-star, price is affordable. For extra info, you can click here and tell me your opinion.
Car-rental - For a decent van, cost less than 300 per van. A vanette will cost you less than 200.
Bus and ferry ride - Around 100 for round trip.
Estimated Cost - 400++
I prefer 4D3N instead of 3D2N because I think 3D2N is kind of short and we people can think of what to do during this period to fulfil this whole journey.
Plan 2.
Redang?
If we are going to Redang, just take out 500 bucks and think nothing and enjoy to the max for a 3D2N trip. The 4D3N cost less than 600. But of cos the booz part you have to pay more la.
So, what say you? Tell me your decision as soon as possible before MAY so everything can be done. And I need your help too.
Deposit might be collected if necessary,
For me, I think Langkawi is better. No why.
Confirmed guests : Limpeh, Tat, Joyce, Kamun, Hannah, Darren, Jess.
Yours truly,
